This is your standard high-quality BCBGeneration dress. Like many of their dresses, it seems to run a little large. I ordered a large and could have sized down to a medium, but since the bodice seemed to stay put, I didn't bother. It's loose but does stay in place (which I find does not always happen with strapless dresses). With the overlay ruffle over the chest area, I've also skipped wearing a bra underneath it. I'm 5'7" and 155 pounds and the length on the model is the length of my dress--the short part in front stops a couple inches above my knees, so it's modest but also light and airy. It washes beautifully in the washing machine too--which is a nice bonus!
